We built NutriGest, a tailor-made platform that brings together clinical records, appointments, AI-generated meal plans, scheduling with video calls and a portal where each patient follows their own progress.

NutriGest connects the clinical team and patients to the same platform, hosted on the clinic’s own infrastructure.

The challenge

A network of nutrition clinics with several locations needed to centralise its operations. Every appointment generated measurements, clinical questionnaires, reports and meal plans, and all that administrative work took time away from what matters most: looking after patients. There was also no direct channel with patients between appointments.

The solution

We created NutriGest, a platform designed around the clinic’s daily work, with two sides: one for the clinical team and a portal for every patient.

Technology

React and TypeScript on the front end, Python (FastAPI) on the back end, PostgreSQL and Docker. The platform runs on the clinic’s own infrastructure: clinical data stays on a local server and external access goes through a secure Cloudflare tunnel, without exposing any server to the internet. It integrates generative AI, Google Calendar and Meet, and email.

For the clinical team

  • Complete clinical record

    A detailed medical history at the first visit, a follow-up questionnaire and more than 15 body indicators: weight, body fat, muscle mass, body water, visceral fat, basal metabolic rate, body measurements and blood pressure.

  • First visit in a single step

    Measurements, medical history and the visit report are recorded in one go, and the report is generated automatically.

  • AI meal plans

    The nutritionist sets calories, macronutrients, goal, intolerances and allergens. The platform proposes a complete weekly plan (7 days, 5 meals a day) with practical quantities, an explanation of the goal and recommendations. The plan can follow the style of the clinic’s reference diets and is always reviewed and approved by the nutritionist before it reaches the patient.

  • Visual progress

    Charts with clinical reference ranges, before-and-after photos and a 3D body avatar that follows the patient’s measurements.

  • Multi-clinic scheduling

    Management of consulting rooms and of in-person and online appointments. When an online appointment is confirmed, the Google Meet link is created automatically, and reminders go out by email.

  • Management reports

    New patients, completed appointments, positive progress rate and breakdown by goal.

  • Documents and PDF

    PDF export of clinical records, reports and meal plans.
